The InuYasha Fan Guild follows the Fanfiction.net system. All nominations and recommendations submitted to the group
should use those ratings, regardless of where the work is posted. The table should help you translate ratings to our format.
If the original system used to rate a given work is not comparable to this one, please approximate the rating as best you can.

Movie Ratings	IYFG Ratings (FF.net)	MM.org	AFF.net	Rating Definition
G	K	A	–	Intended for general audience 5 years and older. Content should be free of any coarse language, violence, and adult themes.
PG	K+	P	–	Suitable for more mature children, 9 years and older, with minor action violence without serious injury. May contain mild coarse language. Should not contain any adult themes.
PG13	T	T	–	Suitable for teens, 13 years and older, with some violence, minor coarse language, and minor suggestive adult themes.
R	M	Y	+	Not suitable for children or teens below the age of 16; possible strong but non-explicit adult themes, references to violence, and strong coarse language.
NC17	MA	X	++	Content is only suitable for mature adults. May contain explicit language and adult themes. [Note: You must include a CYA statement when recommending, nominating or seconding a fic of this rating.]
